Module Overview
The Three Finger Screenshot module is a lightweight root utility that enables tap or swipe screenshot gestures on rooted Android devices. It reads touch inputs directly through a background shell service, bypassing the need for accessibility permissions or screen overlays for faster captures.
I've been running this on my daily driver, and the lack of accessibility overlays makes snapping screenshots noticeably quicker without bogging down system resources. The best part for me is the built-in action button to temporarily disable the gesture when playing multi-touch shooters like PUBG, preventing annoying accidental captures mid-fight.
Core Features
- Direct input tracking means the module runs strictly as a background shell service instead of relying on heavy accessibility APIs.
- Toggle it off via the action button or WebUI, keeping the gesture out of your way during intense gaming sessions.
- A handy cooldown timer prevents rapid-fire accidental captures if you accidentally leave your hand resting on the display.
- Standard save location drops the images right into
/sdcard/Pictures/Screenshotswhile sending a quick custom toast notification.
