Module Overview

The KernelSU WiFi Country Code module is a root tool that forces an Android device's WiFi region setting. By overriding location-based restrictions, it unlocks access to 5GHz, 6GHz (WiFi 6E/7), and DFS channels for faster network speeds and better router compatibility.

I've been running this on my daily driver to bypass aggressive local restrictions on 6GHz bands. Under the hood, it just executes a clean boot-time command without modifying actual system files, giving you unrestricted router connectivity and much less network congestion.

Core Features

  • Massive region database: Gives you access to 140 official country codes pulled directly from the Linux wireless-regdb.
  • Checking your active status is incredibly easy using the real-time operation log and status panel inside the WebUI.
  • Survives system reboots: Applies your exact configuration automatically at startup without relying on heavy background daemons.

Support & Requirements

  • Android Version: Android 11+
  • Root Type: KernelSU (fully supports WebUI) or Magisk v20.4+ (requires manual country.conf text editing)
  • Hardware: Device must support the cmd wifi interface

How to Install

  1. Flash the downloaded module ZIP inside the Modules tab of KernelSU or Magisk Manager.
  2. Reboot your device to initialize the boot script.
  3. Open KernelSU Manager's module settings to access the WebUI, pick your country code, and tap Save.
