Module Overview
FastCharge Next is a Magisk and KernelSU module designed to increase charging speeds on rooted Android devices. It safely adjusts kernel and system power supply parameters to reduce charge times without causing overheating or long-term battery degradation.
My Experience
I've been running this on my daily driver for a few days to see if the extra heat was noticeable, and honestly, the phone stays surprisingly cool. Under the hood, the script modifies your battery and USB sysfs paths to force a higher power draw directly from your charging brick. It handles everything automatically, but I still jumped into the /data/adb config file to manually bump my charging cap to 3000mA just to test the limits.
Core Features
- Higher current draw gets forced by bypassing stock kernel limitations in your device's power supply paths.
- Tweak the config file yourself if you prefer to set specific voltage and mA limits manually.
- Safe thermal thresholds are baked into the script to prevent your phone from cooking itself while plugged in.
- Leaves zero traces after you uninstall the module, reverting your device strictly back to stock parameters.
